It all began in 1977, when Cynthia East left a career in advertising to turn her love of fabric and design

Into a business "at the bottom of! the hill." Terry Dilday joined her in 1981, and together they built Cynthia East Fabrics on a shared eye for beautiful things and a commitment to making every customer feel at home.
